This room is located on the main floor of our home. It is actually closest to the parlour.

This lovely room with its rose covered quilts and unique lamps, has two twin beds for those who prefer this accommodation, but they can easily convert into a comfy large king size bed with antique headboards to closely match the walnut wardrobe and dressing table. The Garnet Room

This room is also located on the main floor, close to the entrance to our elegant dining room. This room with it’s brass and iron bed and antique wardrobe has been done in what we consider a fairly masculine decor.

It has a comfortable double bed with a burgundy or garnet velvet comforter and silk bed-skirt, with matching drapes. Two comfy full length white cotton dressing gowns are provided for your stay. This room has a 3-piece en-suite with a shower.

The Amber Room

Located at the furthest end of our main floor this beautiful room is done in tones of amber and pale green. Relax in the beautiful and extremely comfortable queen size brass and iron bed and enjoy the glow of the faux fireplace and tiffany style lamps.

Enjoy a long soak in our wonderfully deep, claw foot tub. Then curl up in one of the two comfy full length white cotton dressing gowns are provided for your stay. This room has a 3-piece en-suite with an antique claw-foot tub.

The Diamond Rose Suite

Up a flight of stairs you will find our three elegant suites. Our romantic Diamond Rose Suite is a favourite with its pine and lace canopy bed, wonderful antique wardrobe and dresser. Curl up and read a book in the cozy hand painted & upholstered bench. Or sit and enjoy refreshments in the comfortable rattan chairs. These rooms have a unique 3-piece en-suite with a deep, luxurious claw foot tub for long soaks. Two comfy full length white cotton dressing gowns are provided for your stay.

The Jade Suite

This lovely accommodation is also located on our top floor. We call it our Jade Suite.

This incredible room is done in the palest of greens and has a wonderful oriental feel about the room with its turn of the century British antique queen-size oak bedroom set, beautifully carved with Japanese figures. This suite has its own private sundeck where you can take the sun, enjoy refreshments from your own fridge, as well as enjoy the little garden that Clair has planted for your pleasure. All this while sitting at your own patio set. This room has a modern 3 piece en-suite with tub and shower. Two comfy full length white cotton dressing gowns are provided for your stay.

The Turquoise Suite

This lovely large two-room suite is perfect for the family vacation or for the business traveller. It has a wonderful queen-size brass bed, comfy love-seat and beautiful walnut wardrobe with a dresser.

In the accompanying room there is a desk where the business traveller can work on their laptop computer with our complimentary on-line access. This suite has a single iron bed which easily converts from a couch to a bed. There is also an antique twin size Murphy bed for larger families. This room has the access to a television set with cable upon request. These rooms have a 4 piece en-suite with spa tub and glass enclosed shower stall. Two comfy full length white cotton dressing gowns are provided for your stay.

Our Parlour & Salon

Welcome to our parlour - (or as my mother lovingly calls it "The Snug" as it reminds her of a room in her home back in the 1920's ) We have a beautiful and very comfortable set of french provincial furniture where our guests can relax and read any of the books from our library or watch television (complete with VCR) late in to the evening if they choose. Cliff and Clair may join you at 7:00p.m. for refreshments and let you in on a few of the secrets about the Ladner Village area.

Come into the salon next to the dining room and enjoy taking a step back into the elegant Art Deco era through the furnishings Clair & Cliff have collected over the years. The cozy gas fireplace can be easily ignited and you can listen to your choice of jazz, R & B, pop or anything else from our large CD collection on the replica Victrola (complete with CD player) or even play our ancient though recently tuned 1886 piano.
